Death on the Cruise
Screams were heard and then, a splash, as something big was thrown overboard.
Several hours earlier, it was a cool and crisp night when a group of friends got on a cruise. The group had William the Italian NBA player, Rayan The CEO of Play Store, Ricky the former app developer, Rafeal the marine, and Liam, a SWAT team member.
“I’M SO EXCITED!!!!” squealed William.
“Same,” replied Rayan.
“Don’t scare the water guys,” Ricky joked.
At 9:00 pm, all were enjoying their dinner, and they were talking about the latest movie they watched, A Minecraft Movie.
“Man, that movie was the G.O.A.T, it was so good,” William said.
“It was alright,” replied Ricky, still mad that Rayan fired him from his job.
“ARE Y’ALL JOKING, THAT MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE. THERE WAS SO MUCH PINK SHEEP ALTHOUGH THERE IS ONLY 0.164% OF ONE NATURALLY, THERE WAS ALSO A TAIGA VILLAGER IN A PLAINS VILLAGE!” Yelled Rafeal.
“Did you take your anger issue pills, you need?” Asked Rayan.
“Never mind that, ask Liam if he liked the movie like a good boy,” Rafeal responded.
“I couldn't watch it, I was on a hostage rescue mission, remember?” asked Liam.
They continued this conversation for the next 3 hours before heading to their rooms. Suddenly, there was a disturbing noise and there was a big splash. Everyone rushed to the scene and saw Rayan’s body floating in the water. He had been murdered.
“Alright, who the heck did this!” Screamed Rafeal who was weeping. Liam soon arrested everyone and started interrogating everyone.
Liam realized that Ricky could have committed the crime because Rayan fired him, Rafeal could have done the murder because he was in a huge fight with Rayan, and William needed money to support his family. On the deck, where Rayan had died, stood the suspects bought by Liam. Liam learned that Rayan was in depression and may have taken his own life, Ricky’s glove was on Rayan’s body, Rafeal’s fingerprint was on the deck, and so was William’s hair.
“It wasn’t me; I was in my room during this terrible, terrible, incident,” Ricky said to Liam.
“I was with Rafeal, and I saw Rayan being thrown, but I did not see the monster that did this,” William said to Liam.
“I was with William when I heard Rayan scream and hit the water,” Rafeal stated.
“If nobody did it, it must have been suicide…” Liam thought. He was soon convinced that it must have been suicide by Ricky. He decided to take one last look at the evidence.
“No, this is definitely not suicide. The bulkheads are too high to jump and too slippery to climb. It must have been a murder.” Liam said.
“Then William and Rafeal probably ganged up on him and killed him because that is the only thing that makes sense,” Ricky discussed at the meeting that Liam called.
“IT WAS PROBABLY YOU; YOU BROKE JOBLESS IDIOT!” Rafeal yelled. He punched Ricky in the nose as Ricky kicked his knees. The fight got so massive that William also had to join in. Ricky boosted his knees up and hit the table which fell on Willam.
“WHAT HE SAYS YOU STUPID!” Screamed Willam. Ricky was now sweating like crazy since everyone looked at him. Then, it hit Liam, he was the one, the one that had murdered Rayan.
Liam lunged forward at Ricky and arrested him.
“Ha took you long enough, it was what he deserved, firing me in front of everybody, and humiliating me,” Ricky said very sinisterly. Liam locked him up in a room with Rafeal up as a guard. Ricky quickly pulled out his ring pistol and shot his lock and held Rafeal as a hostage.
“HELP!!!!” Screamed Rafeal as Ricky had is gun to his neck.
“Ricky, you are already at eight years in solitary confinement, another murder could be considered as human execution and will land you at about twenty years in prison,” Liam stated as he pulled out his standard issued rock and threw it at Ricky causing him to fall and drop Rafeal.
“Mister sailor, head back to port,” Liam ordered.
“Sure thing,” The sailor responded.
“Make it quick please, we got a criminal on board,”
“What, a criminal!”
“Don’t worry, we got it under control and we just need to get the police to send him to jail.
Soon the cruise ship had docked right where they took off. Liam saw several police officers waiting for Ricky. In court, Ricky was sentenced to forty years in prison.
“Ricky Gerald Jacobson has been sentenced to forty years in jail with no family visits,” announced the judge.
Liam was awarded the Medal of Honor because of his quick thinking and actions that night. The remaining friends, Liam, William, and Rafeal retired and lived happily ever after.
